Hi Everyone! I hope the summer is treating you well. I'm not hating the good weather, so no complaints here!
I have a couple of updates I wanted to mention. Since the summer is typically a bit slower than the rest of the year, I use that type to update the business model in order to make things run smoother for all of us.
With that said, if you will be ready to start a new project come this fall, please feel free to book your project through our Booking Form. Once a confirmation has been sent with your scheduled date, a link to pay for your deposit (if the project is seven or more days out), will be sent.
Prior to the start of all projects, the full (quoted) amount will be due. If additional fees incur (by agreement of MadHat Books and the client), an additional invoice will be sent at completion of the project.
An agreement form will now be sent prior to the start of any project, as well.
A second agreement will be sent at the end of a project, allowing both parties to confirm closure of a project.
Sorry for the business babble, but I would rather be upfront about changing policies than spring it on anyone at the beginning of a project. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out, and I'll be happy to answer them.
